If you’re frustrated by slow tethering, don’t worry — there’s a way to keep speedy hotspot access without upgrading your plan.

EXAMPLE
You have 15GB of fast hotspot data, after that, it slows to a crawl. As a result, your hotspot is barely usable.

THE GOAL
Make it appear as if you are not using hotspot, when you are, to avoid throttling. Your carrier should only see that you are using your data plan, but not hotspot.

WHAT YOU NEED
1.Rooted Android phone
2.VPN Hotspot apk– by Github userMygod
3.VPN connection (a free option, if you always leave your home PC on, or router is compatible, is Tailscale with an exit node)

INSTRUCTIONS
1.First, download the app, install, and then grant root access.
2.Next, turn on your VPN.
3.Then, inVPN Hotspottoggle the items in my screenshot below:

That’s it!

As a result, your connection speeds should significantly improve. Of course, performance may vary depending on the quality of your VPN—but it will almost certainly be faster than throttled data.
